In what appears to be the result of either the current $1.80 a gallon prize of gas, or the sole fact The Black Lips are one of the most insanely unpredictable and utterly crazy music outfits around, the Atlanta rockers have unveiled a whole slew of new tour dates that brings the number of upcoming stops eerily close to the title of their upcoming effort.

In support of next month’s release of 200 Million Thousand (February 24th via Vice Records), The Black Lips will soon hit the road for a North American tour that will take the four-piece outfit all across the country until mid-summer. Following the band’s currently ongoing Indian – yes, Indian – and European legs, the Lips will head back home in late February for a hometown performance in Atlanta, before ultimately embarking on a three-month trek, highlighted by a stop at South by Southwest in March. What’s more, Cole Alexander and Co. are already confirmed for this year’s edition of the Pitchfork Music Festival, meaning even more dates are probably still coming.

Tickets for a number of these shows are currently available via Ticketmaster.com.
