It’s been nearly five years since the legendary electric duo of Phil and Paul Hartnoll, aka Orbital, split following a career that saw the release of seven studio albums and acclaim as one of the genre’s most successful acts after. However, with 2009 making the 20th anniversary of the band, the Hartnoll brothers plan to celebrate the occasion with a reunion.

Beginning in June, Orbital will return for a number of U.K. tour dates, highlighted by a performance at The Big Chill 2009, which is scheduled to take place between August 7 and 9 in Herefordshire, England. And while details remain sketchy – after all, they don’t want to ruin the surprise! – the duo promises “wall anthems, expansive audio-visuals – and the return of Paul and Phil’s trademark torch-glasses.”

The band has also announced plans to appear at both the RockNess Festival and Global Gathering, as well as the Manchester Academy and Brixton Academy in late September. As of now, it’s unclear whether Orbital will perform in the U.S.
