Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are just 25 days away from Listen!. On Friday, March 20th, Consequence of Sound will take over The Wave in Austin for our first official South by Southwest Showcase with a lineup designed to highlight six of music’s most talented up-and-comers in one night, under one roof.

Canadian based hip-hopper Shad will kick things with his Juno-nominated rhymes, followed by the musically rich and equally captivating Eksi Ekso. The Tiny will hit the stage next and look to introduce America to its stellar pop melodies that have already captured the hearts of fans in the band’s native Sweden, while Birmingham’s 13ghosts will look to do the same, but with a unique blend of lo-fi, folk-influenced Southern rock. Up next will by New York’s Kittens Ablaze who have had us rocking for the better part of a year now and to top things off, Austin’s own Future Clouds & Radar will close the evening with their critically acclaimed sound that has been deemed a “beautiful and brilliant mess,” a cross between The Flaming Lips and Guided By Voices.

Why wouldn’t you want to come?

Oh, and by the way, now’s probably a good time to unveil the official poster for this year’s showcase:
