Most bands bands appearing on this year’s Coachella lineup built their tour around the Indio, California based festival, using it as a “finale” of sorts, a great way to cap off a North American tour. But for The Kills, the U.K. based outfit out will use Coachella as a springboard for its newly unveiled North American tour.
Following the band’s Sunday appearance in Indio, “VV” (Alison Mosshart) and “Hotel” (Jamie Hince) will embark on a month-long endeavor that will take the music duo all across the U.S. and Canada. The tour, which will feature The Horrors and Magic Wands as support, will coincide with the release of The Kills’ brand new EP, Black Balloon, scheduled for release on April 14th.
