A new days, a new slew of festival news. Let’s round up all the important info in today’s edition of CoS’ Festivals in Brief:

    Audiotistic:
Looking for some super catchy electricity amidst the beautiful California sun? Perhaps you should check out this year’s Audiotistic. Scheduled to take place on May 9th, the San Bernardino based event features the likes of The Roots, Chromeo, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Reflections Eternal, Ed Rush & Optical, The Cool Kids, Above & Beyond, Le Castle Vania, and Flosstradamus.

    Summerfest:
Can you even call Summerfest a music festival? It’s more like an 11 day (June 25-July 5) music extravaganza of epic proportions, featuring a bounty of headliners, up-and-comers, and old favorites alike. Regardless, slowly but surely, the lineup for this year’s Summerfest is taking share. Bon Jovi, No Doubt, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, The Fray, and a co-headlining venture of Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire are among the names currently scheduled to headline throughout the 11 days, while Lupe Fiasco, Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Phil Vassar, and Femi Kuti look to be holding down the slew of other stages. Both Marcus Amphitheater (headlining) and general admission tickets are currently on sale.

    Mulberry Mountain Harvest Music Festival:
This year’s Mullberry Mountain Harvest Music Festival may still be a long ways away (August 13-15), but that hasn’t stopped organizers from reveling the lineup. The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, The Avett Brothers, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Railroad Earth head the bill, while Lotus, Tea Leaf Green, Hot Buttered Rum, The Duhks, William Elliott Whitmore, Cornmeal, and The Lee Boys make up some of the other acts of note. Tickets are currently available.

    ATP New York:
ATP New York is back with another round of lineup additions, and shocker, they are good! Joining curators The Flaming Lips and previously announced acts like Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Black Dice, and Suicide will be the recently reunited Jesus Lizard, The Drones, who will perform Wait Long By The River and the Bodies Of The Enemies Will Float By in its entirety, Akron/Family, Melvins, Dead Meadow, El-P, and Sleepy Sun. Many ore acts are still forthcoming; tickets, including a limited number of single day passes are currently available on seetickets.com.
