With Metallica taking supreme legacy and acceptance to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, heavy metal this week has certainly made public headlines in the music world. While the glitz and glamor shines bright for this early edition of April, the underground isn’t looking too shabby either. A little while ago, we introduced you to one of North Dakota’s heaviest doom metal bands Battlefields. As it turns out, not only are the Midwestern quartet finishing up their U.S. tour with label mates Irepress, their debut album Thresholds Of Imbalance is currently streaming on the band’s MySpace page.
Need a new heavy dosage in your morning coffee? Can’t seem to shake off those train ride blues without a new jolt of thunder? Battlefields’ debut can quickly take care of that. While the band is currently wrapping up the tour, the band will partake in another summer tour starting in June (with dates to be announced shortly).
