When not hanging with The Cave Singers — though, as you’ll see, that’s a rare occurrence — and getting down and dirty with their main outfit, Black Mountain, Amber Webber and Joshua Wells keep busy with quite the elaborate side project. I speak of Lightning Dust of course.
And in case you haven’t noticed, Webber and Wells are going to be quite busy with Lightning Dust in the coming months. In addition to the release of the band’s layered and lush, yet minimally aesthetic sophomore effort, Infinite Light, on August 4th, the duo has announced plans for a North American tour with, you guessed it, The Cave Singers. The fun kicks off on September 12th in Chicago.
But wait, don’t take your sunglasses off quite yet! Lightning Dust have also shelled out yet another song from their forthcoming release, this in the form of the moody “Never Seen”, which you can check out below.
