Goodie Mob keeps the reunion going, announces U.S. tour

Last month, the acclaimed hip-hop collective known as Goodie Mob reunited for the first time in over a year at a hometown gig in Atlanta. This month, Big Gipp, Khujo, T-Mo, and Gnarl Barkley’s Cee-Lo will do it all over again, multiple times, at venues all across the U.S.

Beginning October 15th in New Orleans, the foursome will embark on a month leg trek featuring dates on both coasts as well as an appearance at this year’s Smoke Out Festival. Also worth noting is the November 13th show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, which will see Goodie Mob and tour opener/special guest Scarface joined by Tech N9ne and Slaughterhouse for what will easily be a pretty awesome evening.

“The reunion was inevitable,” said Cee-Lo in an issued statement. “The void in today’s music and marketplace ironically has become the very place prepared for us. There’s a need and a want for what we do and represent as The Mob. Consider the tour a mission … an order if you will. The last of a living breed, the Goodie Mob marches on.”
