American folk rock band Foreign Born will be traveling through their home country early next year in support of their 2009 release, Person to Person.
The tour looks to hit all the major U.S. markets over the course of about two weeks. Starting in Portland on February 26th, the short trek will end with a batch of east coast dates in mid March. Free Energy will open for the band on all dates.
While they’ll be moving through familiar territory in 2010, Foreign Born recently explored the wildlife of the Uncharted Reaches in the music video for “Early Warnings.” Filmed stylistically like a 1970s safari documentary, the video shows Foreign Born traveling by plane, boat, and foot in search of elusive creatures like the “dream lion.” It was directed by Matthew Lessner, who’s also worked on videos for Dirty Projectors and The Raveonettes.
