French director/screenwriter Michel Gondry and Icelandic musical genius Björk are no strangers to each other. In all, they’ve worked together on seven of the Icelandic pixie’s music videos. Plus, before Charlotte Gainsbourg got the role, Björk was almost in 2007’s The Science of Sleep. Well, as it turns out, even though Gondry is hard at work on The Green Hornet with Seth Rogen, he’s once again feeling the need to make something wonderful and weird with Bjork.

According to Entertainment Weekly (via TFB), the French director confirmed that he and Björk, who last worked together on the 2007 video for “Declare Independence”, would collaborate in the near future. “It’s very undefined, so it’s hard to give more precision,” Gondry explained.

“People think I would rest,” Gondry went on to tell EW of the many projects on his plate, “but instead of that, my brain is racing through all the ideas I have, and I want them to come out.

If you like teasing yourself, though, check out some of the ideas the good folks at Paste Magazine came up with. Count us in if it’s White Stripes and Flight of the Conchords level absurdity that goes down.  We’ll keep you in the loop, though.
