Update: This contest has officially ended. Winner will be announced shortly.
It’s rare that there’s ever a good reason to be in the upper panhandle of Florida. (Trust me, I spent four hellish years in there and I’m never going back.) But when there’s a killer festival, it’s hard to argue otherwise. That’s why we should thank the guys behind Live Oak, FL’s Wanee Music Festival, easily one of the coolest and most laid back fests in recent memory. This year comes off as a charmer too, with appearances that include The Allman Brothers Band, The Black Keys, George Clinton & The Parliament Funkadelic, Bob f’n Weir, Sly & the Family Stone, and much much more. It all goes down next month, April 16th & 17th to be exact, and naturally, Consequence of Sound thinks you ought to be there. That’s why we’re going to make sure that happens.
The catch? We can only get two of you in.
So, if you’re in the area (or can get there) and want to attend, this lil’ giveaway is just for you. We’re giving away two passes to the festival. Yep. Just like that. Easy come, easy go, folks. However, unlike our previous giveaways, where all we ask is for your name and address, we’re going to make it fun. To enter this contest, we’ll need you to answer the following prompt: “What is the most ridiculous, asinine jam band name you can come up with?”
If you have an idea, then comment below and we’ll choose the one we like the most.
Our advice? Get creative.
