The Most Serene Republic to embark on co-headlining tour with Annuals

Genre-bending Canadian JUNO Award-nominated indie rock band The Most Serene Republic will soon be embarking on a spring tour of the U.S. The band, which fuses elements of electronic, jazz, classical, and baroque pop, will be co-headlining with noted fellow indie band Annuals, fresh off the release of its new EP. Supporting the headliners for the tour will be indie folksters What Laura Says.

The tour begins May 5th in Pontiac, Michigan. After playing some dates in the Midwest, the bands will do clubs on the West Coast before wrapping around to Texas. The tour concludes with a stop in St. Louis.

The Most Serene Republic has a free track available for download on its website. It’s called “PhotoCall”, and it samples some of the well-known Jon Brion work from the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind soundtrack.
