It’s probably fair to say that when most of us reach our sixties, the last thing we’ll be doing is heading out on a North American tour. Thankfully this is not the case for veteran rockers Bad Company, as Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke, and Mick Ralphs (bassist Boz Burell passed away in 2006) are set to head out on a 13 date North American tour this summer.
The trek will have the band traveling across the US and Canada from mid-July until early October. Based on the major gaps on the current itinerary, many more dates appear to be still forthcoming, but for now, Bad Company is set to make stops in California, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Maryland, Ontario, and Wisconsin before coming to an end in Tulsa on October 7th.
For those not included, Bad Company has teamed up with Abbey Road Live, which will record each concert and sell the live CDs at each venue throughout the tour.
After 10 years away, the original members of Bad Company reunited in August of 2008 for a one night only sold-out show at The Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. A DVD documenting the performance was release earlier this year. The newest tour announcement follows the band’s recently completed UK trek, which culminated with a sold-out show at Wembley Arena.
Tickets are currently available via Ticketmaster.
