Metal monsters GWAR announce fall tour of total destruction

Every find yourself at a concert wishing there was more blood, semen, and human innards involved? Rhetorical question. Of course you do. Well, wish no more this fall when GWAR, the universe’s premiere monster-metal band, rapes and pillages at a theater near you.

The wreckage commences on October 2nd in Baltimore before wrapping up at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest on November 6th. In between, the band travels up and down the Eastern seaboard and into the Midwest for thirty shows (including a sure-to-be-epic Halloween gig in Milwaukee). The jaunt promotes their upcoming Bloody Pit of Horror album, due for a fall release.

“Nothing less than the utmost display of blatant aggression will suffice to appease the lust of our fans, especially in this, our extra violent 25th Anniversary,” singer Oderus Urungus told Pollstar about the tour. “It is patently unfair to compare our exploits with that of other bands … they are, after all, only human.”
