Paste Magazine organizes first North American tour

Paste Magazine is already a pretty cool publication with a great mix of movies, music, TV, games, and books (their List of the Day is always worth a read). They certainly took their awesomeness up a notch, though, announcing their first ever Paste Tour. The series of concerts will go on throughout most of October in North America.

The magazine has assembled a pretty eclectic lineup for the first trek. The four acts at each show are Southern rocker Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, folky soulman Langhorne Slim, psychedelic alt-country duo Jesse Sykes and Phil Wandscher, and the organic, harmonic Mimicking Birds. How could anyone pass up an evening like that?

The tour will start off in Austin, TX, on October 12th, spend a few dates in the Midwest, and then hopscotch its way through the East Coast. The last stop will be in Atlanta, GA, on October 28th. Tickets are currently on sale at Ticketmaster.com.
