The eclectic, post-punk-meets-noise-rock three-piece Woven Bones have just announced their union with Hardly Art alongside the likes of The Pica Beats and Le Loup. Over the last two years, the Austin-based trio, led by the ever-allusive Andy Bones, has steadily released a 7″ with several different labels (including Sweet Rot and Needless). However, now Woven Bones are prepping the release of their new 7” I’ve Gotta Get with Hardly Art, to which they’ve also already confirmed their announcement of their next full-length LP. The record is anticipated for release some time next year.
Starting this week, on August 10th, the aforementioned Hardly Art 7” will be made available via their website

Drenched in reverb, “I’ve Gotta Get” is a bouncy psychedelic-rock number that’s essentially the hypothetical product of a union between the Pixies’ and Sonic Youth’s baby (see SY’s “Mote” and you’ll know what I mean). Can you dig it?
In support of all the aforementioned, Woven Bones have plotted out one absurdly packed upcoming itinerary. Along with two-plus months of headlining dates, the band will also open for Pavement in Austin on September 28th. Find a confirmed list of all upcoming dates below.
