Cincinnati’s Pomegranates are back and set to release their third studio album and first on Afternoon Records, One Of Us, on October 26th. The album was co-produced by the band and TJ Lipple of Aloha (MGMT, Headlights, Minus Story), who also mastered and mixed the album.

In support of the new record, the four-piece of Jacob Merritt, Isaac Karns, Joey Cook, and Dan Lyon will head out on a three-part tour that pretty much covers every corner of the continental United States. The band will start out on September 15th in Cleveland, with Colour Revolt supporting on the first seven dates. Also included in the first round of shows are stops in Grand Rapids, Chicago, and Iowa City before the leg with Colour Revolt winds up in St. Louis on September 23rd.

Round two starts on October 6th in Macon, GA, and sees the Pomegranates play the first of 16 shows slated for October. Stop-offs include Charleston, Charlotte, New Haven, Danbury, and Pittsburgh. There’s also a date at the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival in New York on October 21st.

Round three kicks off on November 1st at The Empty Bottle in Chicago. This begins the most intense leg of the fall tour, with 22 dates in the span of 24 days. (It’s tiring just writing that!) The final leg of the tour is alongside Oh No Oh My and takes in Denver, Salt Lake City, Spokane, and El Paso among others, culminating in a hometown gig on November 24th at Southgate House.
