This footage is ridiculously fresh – recorded Monday night! This recording took place the 21st of February at Christ’s Church Cathedral in Hamilton, Ontario and was captured by Mitch Fillion of Southern Souls. Akron/Family are knonw for swapping roles while performing, but this video captures a rare moment of Dana Janssen steps out from behind the drum kit, grabbing a guitar and singing. “Canopy” is from Akron/Family’s most recent LP, Akron/Family II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT.
