Foxes In Fiction – “School Night”

Now that we’re about midway through March, winter is rapidly shrinking in the rear-view mirror. So what better way to celebrate the changing of the seasons than with the hazy “School Night” by Foxes In Fiction? The name of the song is misleading when matched up with the video. School’s definitely out for summer and these children couldn’t be happier. Using footage from 1969’s “A Day With The Boys,”  the kids do all the typical outdoor activities that you’d expect. Riding bikes? Check. Swings in a playground? Check. Running through field of grass? Huge check mark there. It’s a blissful dream of bygone days steeped with summer heat.

“School Night” is a small part of Slow Motion, a project that combines meditative sounds with matching films to create auditory motion. It was curated by Flashlight Tag and Stadiums & Shrines and can be viewed here.

    Directed by: Jamie Harley
