Earlier this month, we reported that Arcade Fire would soon be heading to Haiti to record several live performances for a DVD to be released at some point in 2011. Apparently, when the Canadian rockers said soon, they really meant it. Just two weeks after the announcement, the band held a secret show at Port-au-Prince’s Hotel Oloffson on March 28th. According to Billboard, the 45-minute set featured several hits from their acclaimed catalog, as well covers of The Paragons’ “The Tide Is High”, The Rolling Stones’ “The Last Time”, Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Who’ll Stop The Rain”, and Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”. Above, you can find video of the band performing “Haiti”; the setlist is posted below.

Update: Pitchfork points us to videos of “The Last Time” and “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”, which you can watch below. Also, according to Arcade Fire manager Scott Rodger, no concert DVD is in the works.
