Watch: Cage The Elephant live and in private with “Rubber Ball” (Cluster 1 Premiere)

As a down-home and dirty little rock band from Bowling Green, KY, Cage The Elephant, who’ve spent the past six weeks atop alt. rock radio nationwide, truly come alive to the listener when enjoyed in a live setting. But since they can’t come into your house and obliterate your living room on a daily basis, the next best thing is to enjoy some footage of the quintet making a ruckus. Courtesy of Cluster 1, you can do just that with video of the band performing Thank You, Happy Birthday standout, “Rubber Ball”, during a private show at Grimey’s in Nashville, TN from this past winter. The track, with its strummy, child-like nature, is a perfectly surreal choice to perform in front of a crowd full of adults. Beyond that, though, it’s one tune perfectly suited for the band’s stage show and presence. Once again, head over to Cluster 1 to check out the clip for yourself.

If you want your own chance to see the band live, check them out on select dates with The Black Keys starting this June.
