According to Wikipedia, Helvetia is the female personification of Switzerland. According to CoS, Helvetia is an experimental indie duo from Seattle, though multi-instrumental mastermind Jason Albertini grew up in Switzerland. Together with fellow ex-Duster member Canaan Dove Amber, the band is set to release album number 5 through The Static Cult Label on April 12th.
Preceding that release is a video for the track Bring Me The Knives, and Cluster 1 has the premiere. Now, the record is called On The Lam, so a video of bank robbers fits the motif. What sort of crooks purposefully burn the loot, though? Moreover, what criminals think playing two drum-kits and a keyboard in the back of the getaway van is a good idea? The Swiss kind, apparently. Directed by Troy Kooper and featuring former Duster/current The Static Cult Label head Clay Parton (hows that for keeping it in the fam?), thats exactly the kind of miscreants the video portrays.
Click over to Cluster 1 for the video, and dont forget to follow our video channel on Facebook and Twitter. You can hear more of On The Lam when it hits stores on April 12th.
