Sometimes, fan videos go above and beyond the official music video for a song. It may be due to less time constraints or just a different vision that works better. In the case of Grizzly Bear‘s “Two Weeks”, the imaginative efforts of Gabe Askew would give any high-budget video a run for their money. It features a combination of animation and painstakingly arranged cardboard to create an entire world. The camera pans along as we pass by windows looking out to a highway, examples of war, and firework-filled skies. That’s all before the video takes the action outside.
