Four videos have entered, only one will be the official Scattered Trees music video!

Evan Cohen picked up filmmaking pretty early in his life, starting at the age of eight in Doylestown, PA. He attended the School of Visual Arts and freelanced on several short films, commercials, TV shows and music videos. The first video he directed was Rookie of the Year’s music video for “Slow Down,” which premiered on E! News.

In his entry for the Scattered Trees contest, Cohen split up the screen into sections, displaying all the instruments that put “Four Days Straight.” Clips of keyboards next to the singer’s mouth. The bass next to the tambourine. In a way, it gives you a better view of the band than a wide-angle shot ever could. Every part of the group is put into focus.
