It’s virtually impossible to not think about Conan O’Brien every time Jay Leno comes on the screen, and while Coco’s music-loving fanbase is content with the bookings they get on their hero’s TBS program, it looks as if the folks at The Tonight Show are trying to capitalize on O’Brien’s great taste now, too. Well, maybe.

Last night saw Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince — aka The Kills — take to the program to perform “You Don’t Own the Road” from their latest – and arguably greatest – LP, Blood Pressures. Making good use of pre-recorded percussion tracks, the duo make major waves as Mosshart flails her gigantic pouf of hair while Hince stands by the wayside flinging a dirty, dingy guitar riff through what looks like five different guitar amps. It’s amazing how two people can command the stage all by their lonesome, and it’s all streaming above (via The Audio Perv) for your viewing pleasure.
