If someone told you that Nice Clean White wasn’t a video, you’d think they were mental. Despite what looks like clear motion and movement, there’s not a single frame of actual film. Using a technique called “photomotion”, the entire project was made of more than 4500 still photos taken in the streets of Nancy and Epinal, France. The visuals combine urban landscapes and pastoral scenes to illuminate moments of life in ever-moving modern society.
