With the original lineup back together for the first time since 2003, Taking Back Sunday are readying the release of their self-titled fifth LP, which drops June 28th. Further keeping with the spirit of returning to the past and finding yourself and all that psychobabble, the band is also undertaking one of rock’s most time-honored traditions: the summer tour.
Following a slew of European tour dates in the middle of this month, TBS returns stateside June 14th in Denver, CO. From there, it’s a mad dash across the U.S. and Canada with dates in San Diego, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Tempe, AZ, Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa, FL, NYC, Boston, MA, and beyond before the leg comes to an end on July 31st in Chicago, IL. Colour Revolt will provide support for the entire trek, with Thursday tagging along as the co-headliner.
Tickets for the upcoming dates go on sale beginning Friday, May 6th via Ticketmaster. Taking Back Sunday, the album, hits stores June 28th via Warner Bros.
