Delicate Cutters – “Warm Beer and Sympathy”

A Cluster 1 Premiere!

At first, this video is shockingly nostalgic. It reminds one of the opening montage to The Wonder Years. The whole thing is on damaged film. Images of folks packing their bags, traveling, and starting a new beginning are something many of us have experienced before, although we never truly remember it. Eventually, we settle in, like the characters, and this new beginning has morphed into our regular lives. This video captures that with grit and honesty.

This is how I felt, until I read it was shot with the iPhone 8 mm app. Now, it’s charmingly genius.
