    Consequence of Sound‘s Festival Outlook is an online database featuring the latest news, rumors, and ticket information for the world’s many music festivals. Sometimes, though, it’s hard to keep up with everything. So, this is where our weekly recap feature comes in.

    This week brings initial 2012 lineup announcements for Summer Camp, Paid Dues, Mission Creek Festival, Cypress Hill Smokeout, and the inaugural Treefort Music Festival. In addition, Toronto’s Edgefest and Mexico City’s Vive Latino both unveiled their full 2012 bills, while Primavera Sound and Noise Pop each added new names.

    Tickets: Pre-sale begins on Wednesday, December 14 at 10:00am PT, with the public on sale following on Saturday, December 17th at 4:20pm PT via Ticketfly.

    Edgefest:

    When/Where: July 14th in Toronto, Ontario

    Official Lineup: Death From Above 1979, Silversun Pickups, Billy Talent, The Sheepdogs, Young the Giant, The Dirty Heads, and The Pack A.D.

    Tickets: Tickets ($49.50) go on sale Friday, December 16th at 10:00am ET at Ticketmaster.

    Mission Creek Festival:

    When/Where: March 27th – April 1st in Iowa City, Iowa

    Official Lineup: The Magnetic Fields, David Cross, Bowerbids, The War on Drugs, Sharon Van Etten, Dirty Beaches, and William Fitzsimmons, with more to be announced

    Tickets: All-access pass ($115.00) are now available via MidwesTIX. Single-day tickets will be available on Friday, December 16th.

    Official Lineup: Wu-Tang Clan and Odd Future, with more to be announced

    Noise Pop:

    When/Where: February 21-26th in San Francisco, California

    Who’s New: Dodos, Wye Oak, Big Freedia, The Dirty Ghosts, and The Soft Pack

    Treefort Music Festival:
