Check Out: Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros – “Mother”

    As previously reported, Beck, Coldplay, Eddie Vedder, U2’s Bono and The Edge, and a number of other musicians appear on a new compilation benefiting the organization Every Mother Counts. For their part, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros contributed a new a track called “Mother”, which sprang from a poem Alex Ebert wrote about his mother. You can stream it now at Spinner.

    Every Mother Counts will be available at Starbucks exclusively from May 1-29th, and you can find the tracklist below. The organization is an advocacy and mobilization campaign to increase education and support for maternal mortality reduction globally.
