Recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Red Hot Chili Peppers remain pretty stoked about being part of the Cleveland, OH institution. So stoked in fact that they’re releasing a digital-only EP of covers by fellow inductees.
Due out May 1st via Warner Bros., We Salute You is a six-track suite of past covers, five of which have never been available digitally. Included are their studio takes on Iggy and the Stooges’ “Search & Destroy” and The Ramones’ “Havana Affair”, as well live versions of Neil Young’s “Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere”, The Beach Boys’ “I Get Around”, and David Bowie’s “Suffragette City”.
