The United States’ “Big Four” music festivals (Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits) are no longer the only kids on the block, but they have this awe and fascination about them like none other. These are the festivals that have message boards speculating on next year’s lineups before this year’s have gotten a chance to prove themselves. These are the festivals that sell out long before the first act is ever confirmed. These are the festivals whose lineup announcements are a music fan’s equivalent to the Super Bowl.
So, in the wake of ACL’s last announcement night, we figured now would be an appropriate time to ask: Which of the “Big Four” delivered your favorite lineup in 2012? To help you answer that question, we have the lineups for all four festivals below.
