On August 21st, The Darkness will release their long-awaited third album, Hot Cakes, via Wind-Up. Produced by the band’s Justin and Dan Hawkins, with mixing by Bob Ezrin, the follow up to 2005’s One Way Ticket to Hell… and Back promises to deliver “epic rock anthems and infectious pop choruses,” as a press release notes. Stream the previously released single “Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us” below.

To support the effort, the UK glam rockers will continue plowing through their touring itinerary into summer, which now includes a number of festival dates and an overseas leg with Lady Gaga. Take a peek at the full itinerary and stay tuned for more updates regarding the album, including artwork and a tracklist.
