Noise-pop ensemble Dum Dum Girls will release a new EP entitled End of Daze on September 25th via Sub Pop. The follow-up to last September’s Only in Dreams, the five-track effort was produced by The Raveonettes’ Sune Rose Wagner and the band’s long-time collaborator Richard Gottehrer. According to press, the EP continues the album’s emotional arc (frontwoman Dee Dee’s mourning of her mother), documenting the “last stages of grief and its reprecussions, and the hopeful waking up somewhere on the other side.”
While the group have yet to officially release a track off the effort, they recently performed “Mine Tonight” during a Rhapsody acoustic session. Check out the replay below, followed by the EP tracklist and the group’s upcoming tour schedule.
