Yesterday, Childish Gambino announced the July 4th release for his upcoming mixtape. And today, the actor-turned-rapper appeared on Sway in the Morning, where he revealed the tape’s title, Royalty, before debuting yet another track from it. Stream “One Up” below.
Gambino’s other recent releases include collaborations with Beck, Nipsey Hussle, Heems, and ScHoolboy Q, along with solo cuts “We Ain’t Them” and “Shoulda Known”. No word on how many of those will end up on the final mixtape.
In other news, Gambino performed at Central Park’s SummerStage last night, and at one point, Danny Brown and ScHoolboy Q joined him on stage for a freestyle cypher. Watch the replay below.
