El-P has collaborated with plenty of big names from outside the rap game, including Interpol’s Paul Banks and Islands’ Nick Thorburn (AKA Nick Diamonds) on Cancer For Cure. Last night on Conan, the Brooklyn rapper added another unlikely collaborator to the list by bringing out goth-pop songstress Zola Jesus, along with Conan’s horn section, for a performance of “Works Every Time”.
