My Morning Jacket perform with Conor Oberst, Alabama Shakes at Newport Folk Fest

    My Morning Jacket headlined the famed Newport Folk Festival last night, and there was no shortage of special guests. Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard sang vocals on a cover of The Band’s “It Makes No Difference”, and Jim James’ Monsters of Folk collaborator Conor Oberst appeared with Ben Sollee for “Smokin From Shootin'”. Sollee and Laura Veirs also sat in for “Wonderful (The Way I Feel)”.
