Another day, another preview of the forthcoming Fleetwood Mac tribute album, Just Tell Me That You Want Me. This time, it’s Karen Elson’s cover of the Stevie Nicks-sung hit “Gold Dust Woman”, off Fleetwood Mac the album. Between recent collaborations with Elson’s ex and Childish Gambino, Beck Hansen found time to produce the cover, which stays pretty true to the original, even featuring the killer guitar solo that closes the song.
Just Tell Me That You Want Me will be released on August 14th via Hear Music/Concord. Of the 17 tracks included, we’ve also heard “FutureGames” by MGMT, “Silver Springs” by Lykke Li, “Landslide” by Antony, “Rhiannon” by Best Coast, and “Think About Me” by The New Pornographers.
