Thurston Moore joins black metal super group Twilight

Here’s the point in Thurston Moore’s career when he joins the black metal super group Twilight.

Even though he just formed his “burroughs” rock band Chelsea Light Moving, and is gearing up for an album with Kim Gordon and Yoko Ono, Moore has found time to contribute to Twilight’s upcoming album, fellow Twilight member Blake Judd revealed in an interview with The 1st Five.

According to the Pitchfork, the currently untitled album will be released this fall by Century Media, and features the lineup of Moore, Judd (Nachtmystium), Stavros Giannopoulos (The Atlas Moth), N. Imperial (Krieg), and producer Sanford Parker. Judd also hopes for contributions from Aaron Turner (Isis), Rob Lowe (Lichens), and Malefic (Xasthur).
