Canandian indie-rock outfit Stars have already released two tracks from their upcoming sixth studio album The North: the lush and upbeat “Theory of Relativity” and the dance-pop jam “Hold On When You Get Love And Let Go When You Give It”. For song #3, the band offers something less shimmery with “Backlines”, a more in-your-face pop-rock number with crunchy guitars, a ferocious bassline, and vocals from Amy Millan like a peppier Pat Benatar.
The North hits stores September 4th via ATO Records. In support of the record, the band will be on tour this fall, and you can find the full schedule listed below.
