Minneapolis rapper/Doomtree co-founder P.O.S. has postponed his North American tour due to his emergent need for a kidney transplant. In the video statement below, the rapper explains that he’s been dealing with kidney problems most of his adult life, and was put on dialysis last month.
Originally, P.O.S. hoped to tour with the use of a mobile dialysis machine, but when that plan fell though, all future tour dates but a hometown show on October 26th were nixed. Details surrounding possible donations for the surgery and recovery are forthcoming.
P.O.S.’s fourth album, We Dont Even Live Here, hits stores on October 22nd via Rhymesayers Entertainment. If you missed them, be sure to check out the singles Bumper and the Mike Mictlan-aided “Get Down” and the video for Fuck Your Stuff.
