Young gun rapper Joey Bada$$ continues his support behind the excellent 1999 mixtape with a new video for “Fromdatomb$”. To fit the track’s retro vibe, director David M. Helman recreated early ’90s rap videos with shots of Joey and co. hangin’ on the court, at a ragin’ block party, and even near dimly-lit park tunnels. Further enhancing the aesthetic are the random lines and grainy quality, as if you’re watching some third-generation VHS dub. Relive the glory days of b-boys and MCs when you watch below.
