After much deliberation, The Rolling Stones have finally signed on to perform at next week’s Hurricane Sandy benefit, 12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief. They join the ludicrous lineup that includes Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, The Who, Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, and this week’s earlier additions of Chris Martin and Eric Clapton. No word yet if Jesus Christ himself plans to appear, though reports have been forthcoming.
The concert is set to take place on, you guessed it, December 12th at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Tickets for this insanely star-studded event are available now for an arm and a leg. But, man, isn’t it worth it?
