Beyoncé announces world tour

    On the heels of her spectacular Super Bowl Halftime performance, Beyoncé has announced plans for an extensive world tour. Dubbed “The Mrs. Carter Show,” the 46-date trek commences in Europe this spring, before returning Beyoncé stateside in July. Fittingly, the final scheduled show is set for August 3rd at Jay-Z’s Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

    The tour will come in support of Beyoncé’s as-yet-titled new studio album, the followup to her Top Star-earning 2011 LP 4, which is expected to see light sometime this spring.
