Beyoncé sang live and sang great for her Super Bowl Halftime performance in New Orleans tonight. Accompanied by an all-women backing band and spectacular stage show, the career-spanning set was highlighted by the much-rumored reunion of Destiny’s Child. After shooting up from the stage, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined Beyoncé for performances “Bootylicious”, “Independent Woman Part 1”, and “Single Ladies”. The rest of the set included selections from Beyoncé’s solo catalogue, including “Love on Top”, “Crazy in Love”, “End of Time”, “Baby Boy”, and “Halo”. Replay the full performance here.
Beyoncé has hinted at a special announcement to be made following the performance, so stay tuned. She’ll also be back on TV Saturday, February 16th when her self-directed documentary premieres on HBO.
