This Saturday, Ft. Lauderdale’s downtown nightlife will succumb to the inaugural Block x Blog Music Festival brought to you by Consequence of Sound, Subculture, and 3-J Hospitality. This one-night, landmark event celebrates the 8-bit analog culture through the city’s thriving local arts scene spread over three premier venues all under one roof: Revolution Live, Green Room, and America’s Backyard.

In anticipation of the festivities, Consequence of Sound and Subculture have teamed together to issue an exciting compilation album that collects select favorites and unreleased tracks from the lineup’s local talent.

“It’s an opportunity to get the best out of South Florida’s music and art scene, both as an artist and a fan,” notes Micke Fedez of Miami’s alternative rock band Rebel.

Jacuzzi Boys, Millionyoung, Ex Norwegian, Astronautalis & Rickolus, Bleubird, and Rebel contribute an array of crowd scorchers, alongside previously unreleased tracks by Afrobeta, Krisp, PLAINS, Protoman, Suede Dudes, Lil Daggers, and AbdeCaf. Consult the full tracklist below.

The Blog x Blog Compilation Album is currently available for purchase on iTunes. Tickets for Block x Blog are still available via Ticketmaster. Don’t miss an exclusive headlining set by Brooklyn DFA royalty Holy Ghost!, who headlines a bill that includes over 20 acts and a myriad of local artists, food trucks, and vendors.
