Shadowy soul singer Cole Williams, better known as The Child of Lov, has been on a creative rampage as of late. Just last week he released his Crying Thunder mixtape filled with five brand new tracks, and this week he celebrates the release of his self-titled debut.
The album includes two very special guests: “One Day” features Damon Albarn (whose 13 studio in London was used for the recording of The Child of Lov album), while underground hip-hop artist DOOM guests on “Owl”. Like most of Williams’ material, both tracks make use of harrowing, chilly moods and experimental, off-kilter sounds.
The Child of Love is out now via Double Six.
