Earlier this week, bassist Eric Avery announced his departure from Nine Inch Nails. Even though the band’s first show isn’t scheduled until late July, Trent Reznor wasted no time finding a replacement. As announced on the band’s Facebook page, longtime Nine Inch Nails collaborator Robin Finck has rejoined the band, and is already involved in rehearsals.

Fink has toured off and on with Nine Inch Nails since the mid-90s, and appears on five studio album. For this latest tour, he’ll perform alongside Reznor, Adrian Belew (King Crimson) and Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv), along with previous NIN collaborators Alessandro Cortini and Ilan Rubin.
