Nine Inch Nails to debut new single “Came Back Haunted” on Thursday

Trent Reznor

Trent Reznor describes the new Nine Inch Nails album as “fucking great”, but when might we have a chance to sample it for ourselves? According to Las Vegas radio station X1075, that day will come on Thursday (June 6th) when the band’s brand new single will debut on air.

Update: According to Los Angeles radio station KROQ, the song is titled “Came Back Haunted” and will premiere Thursday at 2:30pm ET/11:30pm PT. KROQ’s Program Director Lisa Worden says the song “harkens back to early Nine Inch Nails,” adding, “I think it’s in line with the first two albums. It’s got a great beat, it’s not the experimental material Trent’s done in the last five years.”

As reported last week, Reznor has signed to Columbia Records for the release of NIN’s new album, the band’s first since The Slip back in 2008. Additional details are forthcoming.
