Freddie Gibbs and Madlib will soon follow up their pair of collaborative EPs — 2011’s Thuggin’ and 2012’s Shame — with a full-length effort entitled Cocaine Piñata, due out later this year. But first, a quick one-off single called “City”, released as part of Adult Swim’s Singles Program. Listen as Gibbs and Detroit product Karriem Riggins rap all over Madlib’s tantalizingly raw bass line (via Rolling Stone).
Adult Swim’s Singles Program has already included new songs from Dan Deacon, El-P and Killer Mike, METZ, Autre Ne Veut, and Kitty.
